Visit of the colombian health sector in the Netherlands
Between 4 and 7 April, a delegation of eleven high-level representatives of the Colombian public health sector visited the Netherlands aiming to hold meetings with their Dutch counterparts.
Since both countries share the same risk-based supervision model, there is a substantial participation of the private sector. Therefore, the security and control entities in the Colombian health sector are interested to learn and enforce cooperation with the Netherlands.
The Colombian delegation visited the Dutch Ministry of Health, Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Task Force Health, NZA (The Dutch Health Authority) and IGZ (The Dutch health inspection), among others.
Similarly, they had the opportunity to attend several lectures about the Dutch healthcare system at the Embassy of Colombia premises given by Colombian professionals connected to the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, who also informed about the different programs offered by the University to Colombian professionals.
