Universidad Externado de Colombia won the Spanish version of the V Edition of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition in The Hague

 

The team of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, composed by Ricardo Arenas, Paloma Morales, Valentina Salazar y Natalia Silva, won the V Edition of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition, Spanish version, held from 29 May to 2 June in the context of the VII Iberoamerican Week of International Justice, which takes place in The Hague and is organized by the Iberoamerican Institute for Peace, Human Rights and International Justice. Among the 17 competing teams, including those from Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru and Spain, Colombia was also represented by the following Universities: Nacional, del Cauca, Autónoma Latinoamericana, Libre, Los Libertadores, del Rosario, Santo Tomás and Sergio Arboleda.

The Embassy of Colombia hosted on 1 June 2017 a reception in which the Ambassador congratulated all participants, in particular the Colombian professors and students whose talent and work heighten the name of our country.
