The Hague, Netherlands (19.01.2022). The Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Fernando Grillo, held the first meeting of the year with the members of GRULAC.

GRULAC is a non-binding dialogue and consultation group of all the Latin America and the Caribbean countries, whose purpose is to build consensus on various issues in the region.

The Hague (Aug 24/21). The Colombian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Fernando Grillo, held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, Hugo Siblesz, with the purpose of strengthening Colombia's multilateral relationship with this international organization.

During this meeting, the Ambassador expressed Colombia's commitment to the mechanisms for the peaceful settlement of disputes, specifically through arbitration.

The Hague 20.08.2021. Ambassador Fernando Grillo meet with Ph.D. Student León Sosapanta Salas to talk about his research in Astrophysics and welcome him to the Netherlands.

León David Sosapanta Salas, is a Colombian born in a small town El Tambo-Nariño. He completed two bachelor’s honor degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physical Engineering and a Master of Science in Physics at the National University of Colombia in Medellin.

The Hague, 18.08.2021. Colombian Ambassador Fernando Grillo visited Ambassador of Ghana Francis Danti Kotia. Ambassador Grillo was Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy of Colombia in Ghana. The meeting was held to deepen relations between the two countries.

The Hague 17.08.21. The Ambassador of Colombia, Fernando Grillo, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Australia Matthew EK Neuhaus, where they discussed issues of mutual interest to continue strengthening bilateral relations.  Ambassador Grillo highlighted the importance of education and commerce. There are around 18,000 Colombians studying in Australia and more than 100 Australian companies in Colombia.

Oranjestad (Feb 25/22). The Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Fernando Antonio Grillo Rubiano, and the Consul of Colombia in Aruba, Mirza Gnecco Pla, participated in the closing event of the first course of Spanish as a foreign language for Aruban officials offered within the framework of the IX edition of the "Initiative for the dissemination of Colombian culture through the teaching of Spanish", promoted by the government of Colombia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation (APC-Colombia).

The Hague (jul. 09/21). Within the framework of the Plan to Promote Colombia Abroad, the Embassy of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands screened the documentary “Cita con la Trocha”  from the Colombia Bio Series at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.
