El Embajador de Colombia ante el Reino de los Países Bajos, Fernando Antonio Grillo Rubiano, recibió en la Embajada de Colombia en La Haya al Ministro Plenipotenciario de San Martin, Rene F. Violenus, a la Jefe de Gabinete de Ministros de San Martín, Carol Voges, y el Director de Relaciones Exteriores, Patrice Gumbs. Durante el encuentro se abordaron temas de relacionamiento bilateral y cooperación entre Colombia y San Martín.

Con ocasión de esta visita, se hizo la entrega de los diplomas que certifican la participación de los estudiantes de San Martin en la IX edición de la "Iniciativa para la difusión de la cultura colombiana a través de la enseñanza del español", promovida por el gobierno de Colombia a través del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y la Agencia Presidencial de Cooperación Internacional (APC-Colombia). Estos cursos tuvieron una duración total de tres meses, durante los cuales los alumnos tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender el idioma español, así como de conocer aspectos culturales de nuestro país.

La iniciativa de difusión de la cultura colombiana a través de la enseñanza del español se viene implementando desde el año 2013, ha beneficiado a 5.235 servidores públicos y diplomáticos de Asia, África, Europa y el Caribe.

 

 

Ambassador of Colombia to the Netherlands receives Minister Plenipotentiary of St. Maarten.

 

The Hague, June 16, 2022. The Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Fernando Antonio Grillo Rubiano, received at the Embassy of Colombia in The Hague the Minister Plenipotentiary of St. Martin, Rene F. Violenus, the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers of St. Martin, Carol Voges, and the Director of Foreign Affairs, Patrice Gumbs. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between Colombia and St. Martin.

On the occasion of this visit, the diplomas certifying the participation of St. Martin students in the IX edition of the "Initiative for the dissemination of Colombian culture through the teaching of Spanish," promoted by the Colombian government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation (APC-Colombia) were handed over. These courses had a total duration of three months, during which the students had the opportunity to learn the Spanish language and about our country's cultural aspects.

The initiative to disseminate Colombian culture through the teaching of Spanish has been implemented since 2013 and has benefited 5,235 public servants and diplomats from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.
