The Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Fernando Grillo, together with Laura Sanchez, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Colombia, held a meeting at the Erasmus University, in which several academics participated.  Such as the researcher specialist in Translational Genomics, Dr. Fernando Rivadeneira, a Colombian physician resident in the Netherlands and affiliated to the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, and Raoul TAN, international advisor of the research and development department of Erasmus MC.

The meeting highlighted the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Erasmus and ICETEX to continue promoting academic opportunities for Colombians in the Netherlands.
