The Hague, 21.01.2022. Artesanías de Colombia and Craft Council Nederland signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The Embassy of Colombia in the Netherlands, led by Ambassador Fernando Grillo, promoted the negotiations and signing of this agreement, which seeks to promote relationship and cooperation ties in the cultural and the craft entrepreneurship sector.

The Memorandum of Understanding seeks to be the framework for the joint work and relationship between the Craft Council Nederland and Artesanías de Colombia, as well as the basis to promote: the exchange of information, good practices, experiences, and methodologies in the crafts sector; the promotion, development, and internationalization of the artisan sector and the crafts of each country; the execution of joint activities and projects that support local crafts; and cooperation in initiatives and actions of entrepreneurship, innovation, and digitization of the artisan sector.
