Países Bajos 18 de abril de 2022. El Embajador de Colombia ante el Reino de los Países Bajos, Fernando Grillo junto con el Ministro de Infraestructura y Agua de Países Bajos Mark Harbers, la Directora del Departamento Nacional de  Planeación Alejandra Botero Barco y el Embajador de Países Bajos Ernest Noorman,  participaron en la firma del Memorando de Entendimiento entre el  Ministerio de Infraestructura y Gestión del Agua de los  Países Bajos y el Departamento  Nacional de Planeación de Colombia.

Con el propósito de fomentar la cooperación bilateral en las áreas de gestión hídrica con especial énfasis en gestión integrada de los recursos hídricos, protección costera, transporte acuático, y adaptación al cambio climático.

Países Bajos y Colombia han llevado acabo un intercambio de conocimiento en materia de gestión hídrica. La directora Alejandra Boter explicó la importancia de la firma de este memorando “con este documento, Colombia se beneficiará de la amplia experiencia que tienen los Países Bajos y en materia de transporte intermodal marino” se resaltó la importancia de proyectar a Colombia como potencia bioceanica para el año 2030.

 

             Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands

Netherlands April 18, 2022. The Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Fernando Grillo, together with the Minister of Infrastructure and Water of the Netherlands Mark Harbers, the Director of the National Planning Department Alejandra Botero Barco, and the Ambassador of the Netherlands Ernest Noorman, participated in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands and the National Planning Department of Colombia.

The purpose of the MoU is to promote bilateral cooperation in water management with particular emphasis on integrated water resources management, coastal protection, water transport, and climate change adaptation.   

The Netherlands and Colombia have carried out an exchange of knowledge on water management. Director Alejandra Botero explained the importance of signing this memorandum "with this document, Colombia will benefit from the extensive experience that the Netherlands has in marine intermodal transport" and highlighted the importance of projecting Colombia as a bio-oceanic power for the year 2030.
