The Ambassador of Colombia in the Netherlands hands over the diplomas of participation to the Aruban public servants who participated in the IX edition of the Initiative for the dissemination of Colombian culture through the teaching of Spanish.

Oranjestad (Feb 25/22). The Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Fernando Antonio Grillo Rubiano, and the Consul of Colombia in Aruba, Mirza Gnecco Pla, participated in the closing event of the first course of Spanish as a foreign language for Aruban officials offered within the framework of the IX edition of the "Initiative for the dissemination of Colombian culture through the teaching of Spanish", promoted by the government of Colombia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation (APC-Colombia).

During the event, diplomas were handed out to the students, certifying their participation in the course, which lasted a total of three months, during which the students not only had the opportunity to learn the Spanish language, but also cultural aspects such as food, music, and folklore of our country.

The initiative to disseminate Colombian culture through the teaching of Spanish has been implemented since 2013, has benefited 5,235 public servants and diplomats from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, this being the first year that it has been offered to officials from Aruba.
